8. Real Stock Pro™ Buttpad spacer kit

This set is included in every Real Stock Pro V2 and V3 Ultimate stock from the factory and these are only be offered if you require an extension beyond 3/4" provided with the initial kit included with your stock. 

This spacer kit allows users to lengthen the comb by 1/4", 1/2" or combined to 3/4" with the V2 or V3 stock (will not fit the V1 stock for that you need to order the V1 pad kit to get the adapter). For most users this accessory isn't necessary but for those with longer necks that may require a longer comb than the spacers provided with the Real Stock Pro you purchased then this is available to increase the distance from the pad to the front of the comb. 

Length of pull is adjusted via the stock slider on all models regardless of the spacer, so while this does effect length of pull it's primary use is to lengthen the comb.

To determine if you need the spacers or not, have someone measure you with your normal real world gun stock mounted and the proper cheek weld. The distance to measure is from the buttpad end to the middle to front of your cheek that is touching the comb. Again remember this is not a length of pull measurement, but purely a cheek weld measurement. You need the stock to fall off shortly after your cheek weld as this gives the necessary clearance for your VR goggles to drop down beneath the comb to achieve a proper cheek weld. Do not measure your real world stock from the pad to the yoke as there is no need for a VR goggle relief in a real world stock, so this measurement will be incorrect. The important measurement is from a properly mount stock and cheek weld from the back of the pad to the middle to front of where you cheek actually rests on the comb. You can see from the attached picture the need for the goggle relief with how the proper cheek weld is accomplished.
